Congress Objective

The objectives of the 19th International Maritime Pilots’ Association Congress (19th IMPA Congress) are the following;

To promote and enhance the profession of the maritime pilots.
To provide an appropriate forum for the exchange of information and experience among members of concerned organizations the world over.
To promote unity, harmony and solidarity among maritime pilots.
To stimulate a culture of quality and safety among professional maritime pilots.
To emphasize the role of maritime pilots in the society, especially in environmental protection.

The theme of the Congress will be Pilots - Moving Forward Together.
